Learn moreMedication works best when someone is paying close attention to how it is working for you, and adjusting when it is not.
Medication management pairs close evaluation of your symptoms with ongoing review and adjustment of the medications you take. The aim is simple: you should never be over-medicated, and you should be on the safest medications for you. It is not a one-time prescription. It is a working relationship that changes as you do.
It is for people whose care includes, or may include, psychiatric medication, whether for ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, postpartum symptoms, or sleep. It is also for people who have tried medication before and felt it did not work. What was tried, at what dose, for how long, and how it felt all help narrow down where to go next. Supportive psychotherapy is available alongside it, or on its own.
New patients begin with a free 15-minute consultation, then a comprehensive 60-minute evaluation by secure video. From there, follow-up visits are 30-minute check-ins to review how things are going and adjust. How often you meet depends on what you need, not a set schedule. Appointments, intake forms, records, and secure messaging live in the Carepatron patient portal.
When clinically appropriate, important lab work is coordinated through Quest Diagnostics or with your primary care provider. Genetic testing, when appropriate, is coordinated through GeneSight. Neither is automatic. Both are used when they help answer a real question about your care.
Review the insurance plans accepted or the self-pay rates. Benefits are verified before your first visit so cost is not a surprise.
If your question is not here, book the free consultation and ask. No commitment either way.
