Telepsychiatry anywhere in Missouri

Psychiatric care by secure video, from wherever you already are in the state. No waiting room, no drive, no time off work for a commute.

What telepsychiatry means here

Mindful Psychiatry is a telehealth practice. Every visit, from the first conversation to ongoing follow-ups, happens by secure video. The practice is based in Saint Louis and sees patients throughout the metro, including St. Charles and Chesterfield, along with Kansas City, Springfield, Columbia, and every other community in Missouri.

Who can be seen

Children age six and up, teens, adults, and older adults, as long as you are located in Missouri at the time of your visit. Stephanie Ball is a PMHNP-BC, board certified through the ANCC and licensed in Missouri. Care covers ADHD, anxiety and panic, depression, PTSD and trauma, postpartum mental health, sleep, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy.

How a first visit works

Start with a free 15-minute consultation, a short call to see whether the practice is the right fit. Next is a 60-minute comprehensive evaluation, followed by a written plan and 30-minute follow-up visits. Appointments, intake forms, records, and secure messaging all live in the Carepatron patient portal, and you get access before your first visit.

Getting the video visit to work

A steady connection helps. Use an up-to-date Chrome or Safari browser, allow camera and microphone access, and close other apps using video. The booking page has a short troubleshooting checklist if a call gets glitchy.

Insurance and booking

Weekday and weekend appointments are available. Review the plans accepted and self-pay rates, or call or text (417) 647-4408 with questions.
