Supportive psychotherapy by telehealth

Sometimes what helps most is a steady conversation with someone who listens closely and helps you make sense of it. Therapy is available with or without medication.

What psychotherapy covers

Mindful Psychiatry offers supportive psychotherapy using talk-based cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. It helps with anxiety, low mood, stress, life transitions, and the patterns that keep getting in your way. Sessions are a place to be heard and to build practical tools you can use between visits.

Who it helps

Care is available for children age six and up, teens, adults, and older adults located in Missouri. You do not need a diagnosis or a crisis to benefit. Wanting things to feel different is reason enough to start.

What the first visit looks like by video

Visits happen by secure video from wherever you are comfortable in the state. After a free 15-minute consultation, the first full session covers what brought you in and what you want to work toward. You set the pace and the focus, and nothing gets decided for you.

Therapy with or without medication

Therapy can stand on its own, or work alongside medication management when that is the right fit. Because the practice offers both, you are not forced to choose a lane, and the plan can change as you do.
